Who's Hungry?

What it is, blog crew? By now you should have the album, yeah? Yeah? I thought so. If you don't... well. You don't want to be that uncool kid who listens to what everyone else is listening to, right? You want to be that kid who has that unique taste in great music, true? Well, having this album in your collection will take you to that status. Trust me.
Anyway, we're starting up with the shows and you know we gotta look after our people first - our hometowns of Queanbeyan and Canberra. Folks, come see your boys tear the Transit Bar a new exit door Oct 8. In support will be fellow local chaps, The WholeSheBang. A three-man cre consisting of MCs Axe Aklins and Carts2Deadly with Goldfinger on the ones and twos. It's going to be a cracker of a night.
Check the flyer for details.

That's right, folks! It's official to the damn bone gristle. All those years of slogging it out have lead to this. The release of our fifth studio LP, "The 'Umu", September 3rd. My gosh. My peoples like Sam Cameron, Katalyst & Ingrid, Ankia from Remote Control, my wife (Shani) and our family and friends. Maaan...

Big Bad City Shit

They woulda looked maaad fly back then, trust me

Greetings, earthlings. I trust all is good.

I thought I'd link you all to a great read. But first let me set the scene...

If you don't know, our tune, 'Jam Hot', 'borrows' the hook from the Johnny Dynell classic (peep here) of the same name. Some may have thought we snatched it from another classic, Norman Cook and Beats International's 'Dub Be Good to Me' (peep here) ...which is partly true. It's a blend of the two. In any case, we salute both artists as they inspired one of our most popular tracks.

Here is Mr. Dynell chatting about his tune in a very interesting interview conducted by DJ & writer, Finn Johannsen. Even gives ya boys a little nod. Wow... respect due. Check it out HERE

Behind-the-Scenes of 'Can't Stand It'

Some visuals of how we get down in the studio. In this particular case, the recording session of our new single, 'Can't Stand It' (available from iTunes, July 2). Who wears a bloody scarf when doing vocals??? I do, buddy, I do.

New Single 'Can't Stand It'

It's about that time, folks. The new single is here. Titled, 'Can't Stand It', it is the musical equivalent to a swift kick in the throat. Danielsan on the beat, Plutonic Lab on the drums and Hau on the microphone all combining to take a stand against racism, ignorance, mediocre music and pretty much all round fuckery.

Lifted off our forthcoming album, 'The 'Umu', it will be available for purchase off iTunes from July 2nd. So for all those who are trying to hold down positivity, hold down hope, hold down love... take cover cos these boys aren't having it.

Inspiration Behind Album Title

What's happening, blog crew?

Hoping all are well.

Here is some new video footage. Obviously. It's the inspiration behind the title of our forth coming album, 'The 'Umu'. Instead of going into details of how the two relate, I'll let you watch this and see if you can suss it out. I know you will cos you're smart like that.

Oh, don't forget; Space Invada tour starts next week in Sydney's Oxford Arts Factory! Hope to see the Sydney crew there. Below is the flyer for further details. Eeeaaasy...
